When I stroll down Calle 22 after the sun has set, I can close my eyes and listen to the pulse of music drifting from El Fogon around the corner. Above, the stars slowly shimmer into life. Some are radiant and blinding; others subtle and muted; some form constellations and some shine alone. Night after night, they are all beautiful. Below, in the city, we are the same.
Whatever you wish for your vacation, I cannot wait to recommend some possibilities that I love. A freshly-squeezed juice from La Ceiba de la 30 in the morning. A trip to the renowned Xplor adventure park. An excursion to Tulum, or water activities like diving, kayaking, and jet skis. If you prefer to choose your own adventure, you are not the first of the pioneers who make their own path. You’re in good company.
